Keeping you cultured for real

“You’re not ready for this.” Viewers say "unwatchable" movie is most disturbing ever made.

The movie viewers are calling "unwatchable."
Film geeks and casual viewers are agreeing that a new movie may contain the most disturbing and graphic scenes ever made. While there are plenty of famously grisly films in existence—think anything by Eli Roth or David Cronenberg—many are calling a recently discovered selection the most undeniably gory and "unwatchable" motion picture of all time.

WARNING: if you are offended or disturbed by graphic descriptions and retellings, please stop reading now.

If a film can be defined by gripping scenes that take us somewhere visually while not having to explain themselves because they are self-explanatory, this is it.  At times, the movie seems to be testing humanity itself by challenging our resolve to watch frame after frame of utter horror and agony portrayed by actors who pretend to be both actually there and in pain. Blood, for example, has a significant role, and, according to some viewers, should almost receive a credit for its performance.

Needless to say, this almost impossible to watch film contains some of the most gruesome depictions of cruelty ever imagined onscreen. It also pushes the limits for what could objectively called “decency.”

Viewer reactions are over the top.

Viewers describe the film as “horrifying,” with some questioning why anyone would even be allowed to watch it. Others mention it being so “squirmy and awful” it made them want to abuse themselves simply to have a reason to be institutionalized and cared for by professionals.

@Zippydimspam40 posts: “This is real, isn’t it? I just saw an actual murder or something. Hold on, is this a movie? No way did they just do that.”

@Sororityspammerplus2 remarks: “Call the fucking police! Call the fucking cops!”

Questions about the director’s intentions.

After an early cut of the film was released, the director was accused of “either making a pure snuff film or a film that looks exactly like a snuff film.” Further, it was asked: “Why would anyone do that?” These questions have led others to wonder if the director intended to make a movie that would make people THINK it was real when it was, in fact, not.

For those speculating that the film is like one of those “found footage” or documentary style movies that appears real—think Blair Witch Project—they would be wrong. It’s not that. According to the director, it’s to the contrary. To make matters even more controversial, he won’t totally dismiss the idea that the movie is an actual snuff film.

“I’m not gonna say,” he announced at a press gala in which he was pointedly asked if people were actually murdered in his movie. As reporters laughed, the director didn’t join them and instead flashed them an eerie grin that seemed to suggest he wasn’t joking.

Was he joking?

At this point we can confirm that while it’s possible he wasn’t joking, there is no way he actually killed any of the actors, because they all seem very much alive in real life. One of them does porn, so we definitely know he’s alive. He’s super alive.

On the other hand, there is almost no humor at all in the film, indicating that the director, who also wrote the script, is not capable of joking. Still, since the actors are all alive, we’re going to assume he is just being coy, which is akin to joking and humor but not really funny, which is close but no cigar.

Where you can see it.

If you want to watch the most horrifying movie probably ever made, it is available on streaming platforms that carry it as well as ordinary subterraneous channels with the bandwidth to broadcast.
